Imphal,Today, a 7-year-old boy was injured in an IED blast near a BSF camp in Manipur's Imphal East district.

According to the police officer, the blast took place around 9 AM, injuring the boy who was playing nearby at Moirang Purel village.

This bomb blast occurred just two days after two BSF jawans were injured in another attack at Kangpokpi in Manipur’s Senapati district.

Three IEDs had exploded near a BSF vehicle while the personnel were trying to board it.

Manipur police and BSF officials rushed to the spot immediately after the incident and conducted search operation.

The boy has been rushed to a hospital in Imphal, the officer said.
