Mithali Raj becomes leading run-getter in women's ODIs

Indian women cricket team yesterday played a match against Australia in the ongoing ICC Women's World Cup. The Indian player  Mithali Raj when scored 34 runs became the leading run-getter in One-Day Internationals.

She has become the first player in women's cricket game to have reached 6000 ODI runs. Other records which she made yesterday were:

Most number of the fifties by any woman player - 49

Most number of consecutive fifties by any woman player - 7

The Indian skipper currently has an average of over 51.

Most number of times carrying her bat to her name - 48.
