Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the newly constructed Gate of Narmada dam during his visit to Gujarat on September 17, on the occasion of his birthday.
State BJP spokesman Bharat Pandya gave this information. The dam height has increased from 138.68 meters to new gates.
Pandya said, "In the presence of religious leaders and others, Modi will inaugurate the Narmada dam in Kewadiya. Later, he will address the public meeting at Dabhoi in Vadodara district." It is Modi's sixth visit to his home state this year.
Prior to Modi's visit, the Narmada Festival will be organized between September 6 and September 15 in the state.
