Jammu: On Tuesday, Islamabad denied of surgical strikes, on which BJP asserted that the reason behind denial is that Pakistan government and its army do not want their ego hurt.

According to BJP state Spokesperson, Virender Gupta, "The denial of Pakistan about such like operation conducted by Indian army across the border can be understood by the fact that Pakistan government and its army do not want their ego and prestige dented, particularly when its army chief is due to retire".

Indian army carried out the surgical strikes across the Line of Control on seven terrorists launch pads and killed around 50 of them, that was a brave exercise to take a revenge of Uri terror attack, he added.

Gupta asserted, “These Kashmiri leaders need to address Pakistan asking it to stop terrorist activities instead of giving sermons to India and its leadership”.
