New Delhi, On Monday, AIADMK MP Sasikala Pushpa broke down in Rajya Sabha while describing that how she was harassed and forced to leave her constitutional post.
Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa expelled MP Sasikala Pushpa from the AIADMK on Monday.
The dramatic developments came two days after Pushpa slapped DMK MP Tiruchi Siva at the Delhi Airport, triggering a controversy and delaying a flight.
According to AIADMK’s official, “Sasikala Pushpa sacked from the party for bringing ill fame to the party”.
Sasikala Pushpa also alleged that she was being forced to leave her constitutional post. “I’m being compelled to resign from my constitutional post. I will not do it,” said Pushpa.
“If a MP is being slapped by a leader, what is this? We should have human dignity,” she added. Pushpa is involved in a slapgate at Delhi airport.
