Monday, after a multiple cloudbursts wreaked chaos in the Uttrakhand state The Uttarakhand government issued a weather alert in six districts. Alerts have been issued in Pithoragarh, Almora, Champawat, Udhamsignh Nagar and Nainital in the Kumaon region, while Pauri district in Garhwal will also get heavy rain.

Meanwhile, 6 people including three women and two young boys demised during the cloudburst hit Tehri, Uttrakashi.

As per media reports, nearly 150 pilgrims from Karnataka were trapped in the hilly state due to the bad weather conditions. However, the state government is concerned and making efforts to help devotees.

In between the cloudburst, a group of 45 people from Bengaluru had also uploaded a video seeking help to return to their homes from Chamiyala village, Tehri district.
