The veteran New Zealand batsman and experienced campaigner in the longest format of the Cricket has been suggested by the medical staff of the board to go through an Eye surgery which he feels necessary after having eye tests at the end of the 1st test match against Pakistan.
Taylor did realise about the vision contact but also assured that it's not so serious that he won't be able to play the 2nd test match against the visiting Asian team which is to begin on Friday in Hamilton. He assured his supporters and staff of the New Zealand cricket team that his eye still able to have 20/20 vision capacity, Thereby It is necessary to support him and He would be back on the ground in the 2nd match for sure.
He also considered the fact of being involved in eye surgery as precautionary as his left eye does seem to have some issues in vision capacity, thereby Taylor has assured that he would be available for the 2nd test, But afterwards He should go for the surgery in the left eye as far his medical fitness is concerned.
This is the second time in 21st century that any Kiwi Player has to come out from the services of international cricket due to eye problems or surgery. The New Zealand legendary leg spinner and former captain in the beginning of 21st century Daniel Vettori also had to face eye and vision problems and thus he continued his career with the middle break in appearance for himself in cricket.
Now, It seems like that Ross Taylor would be the 2nd cricket, who should have to leave the team out due to his eye issues, which has been causing some issues since his last tour in Australia where he did score that legendary knock of 290 against the Kangaroos. However, Taylor didn't confirm about that longer period of the time whereby He had been affected by eye issues, but he needs to assure himself that he remains totally fit when he comes back to the cricket field after the surgery for the goodwill of the New Zealand and backing side as far the Cricket is concerned.
