New Delhi: There will be 3 new things Regarding Union Budget, for the first time, in the Indian history. It will be presented around one month in advance, i.e. instead of Feb. 28 it is likely to be preponed an may be presented on 1st February. The budget session will begin from January 31, as decided in the meeting of cabinet committee on parliamentary affairs, held on Tuesday (January 4).
The union budget of the Financial Year 2017-18, by FM Arun Jaitely is likely to be tabled in the Parliament on February 1, as per the government official sources. The Economic Survey is to be presented in the parliament on January 31. By preponing the Budget, the need of presenting a Vote On Account is done away with and allow government spending in the first few months of fiscal year.

Secondly, this time the Railway Budget will not be tabled separately, but it will be combined with the union budget and end a 92-year-old tradition of presenting a separate railway budget, on February 1.
Thirdly, the first day of budget session will be on the last day of Jnauary and it will be a busy day as at first there will be President’s Address and a discussion over it and then the ‘Economic Survey Of 2016-17 will also be tabled and discussed.
