Madhya Pradesh: Today, on the day of Makar Sankranti a week long Happiness Festival (Anand Utsav) has began in Bhopal. The main objective of fest is to spread happiness among the needy.
With it, MP has became first state in the nation to have a Happiness Department and Anand Utsav is the first fest in the department. At state level, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will address Anandam Programme in the Bhopal.
At Village Panchayat level, various sports like kho-kho, wrestling and Kabaddi will be organised.
