In the list of plague there has come a new and rare addition as "Thunderstorm asthma" which has recently hit various cities of Australia.

Till now it has caused two deaths, and more than 30 people are rushed to hospital for the same and 1900 emergency patients have called at hospitals Monday night.

"We essentially had a day's workload within five hours. This includes 200 cases for asthma, and we were seeing asthma in people who had not experienced breathing issues before," Ambulance Victoria's Executive Director of Emergency Operations, Mick Stephenson, said.

The two people who died were reported very young, one a 20 year old died while waiting for ambulance and other an 18 year old boy who just completed high school exams.

Thunderstorm asthma is termed as regular sufferers of the disease, or non-sufferers who get hay fever. Wheezing, difficulty breathing, tightness of the chest and coughing are its visible symptoms.
