Death toll reached 27 and at least 35 of the people are reportedly injured when blast occurred at Baquir Olum Mosque in western Kabul. As per reports, the incident took place when a suicide bomber triggered the explosion.
“Until now, 17 wounded and eight dead bodies have been carried to hospitals by the Kabul ambulance. The number of casualties could be bigger,” said Mohammad Ismail Kawusi, Public health ministry spokesman.
The blast took place inside the masjid as the bomber entered the masjid and then shattered the bomb.
