On Friday, Defense Expert Retired Major General P.K Sehgal said that it was expected that China will again block a proposal of listing Masood Azhar a terrorist under the 1267 sanctions committee of the United Nations Security Council.

He said "Actions by China are on absolute anticipation and along expected lines. India definitely expected China had two options, either to join the rest of the world in bringing Masood to order, or alternatively, to hold the hand of its all weather friend Pakistan and block,".

He further said that he is not declared designated terrorist by United Nations, then it is clearly puts China into bad light. Among 15 member of UNSC to ban Azhar, China is the only country which is opposing it.
