In the Fencheng city of Jiangxi province yesterday an under construction cooling tower plunged killing many people beneath it. Earlier, it wasn't clear as to how many people were trapped in the debris but as the rescue team has been clearing the area the number of people caught in the accident seem to be increased from 22 to 74 and two of them are reported injured. 

Since the last two years this has been one of the most carelessly work safety arrangement done that took the lives of many, state media reported. Many of them died due to sudden shatter of iron pipes, wooden planks, and steel rods on them. 

500 rescue workers were involved in clearing the scene. The tower was almost 165 meter tall made of high concrete.There have been several such accidents in the past that were recorded as to low safety measures at construction sites in China.
