New Delhi: In north Delhi's Burari area, a girl was admitted to hospital when a man hit her with a glass bottle on the head as she turned down his marriage proposal as per stated by police.

The Senior police officer as per the sources news said that “The 17-year-old girl, a resident of north-west Delhi's Swaroop Nagar area, was found lying injured on roadside in Burari”

He further said that “The accused, who lives in the same area as the victim, has been detained and has confessed to hitting the girl with the bottle”

When the victim didn’t come house her family registered a complaint at the police station. The girl was found lying on the roadside with injuries.
