Rama Mohana Rao was closely linked with Shekhar Reddy, an industrialist. After the raid at Reddy's resident IT- Department recovered Rs.154crore, including Rs. 34Crore of new denomination and 167kg of gold.
AIADMK lost their conscience after knowing about the raid at Reddy's house,as he was the closest person to the party. The inspection proceeded after the raid at Tamil Nadu Chief secretary, P Rama Mohana Rao.
CBI and Enforcement Directorate joined the probe after recovery of unexpected money.
