Karachi Kings triumphed over Islamabad United in the second playoff of Pakistan Super League yesterday March 1 in Dubai. The winning team beat united by 44 runs played in Sharjah.
Islamabad players were all out scoring 82 in just 15.2 overs against which kings posted a target of 126 which is the lowest total in the history of Pakistan Super League.
As the result says, Karachi Kings will face Peshawar Zalmi in the third playoff on Friday, March 3 in Dubai itself. Whosoever wins will take a flight to Pakistan to have a cup tie counterpart Quetta Gladiators, who have already been selected for the finals, on Sunday, March 5.
The final match will be played in Lahore, a city of violence, due to which many foreign cricketers have refused to come over. Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to replace the players with some other foreign players in the list of 60.
