Luke Wright, English player in Pakistan Super League who decided to back off from the finals in Lahore, announced the same on social networking site, Twitter, on Wednesday, March 1.
The 31-year-old wrote, "It's with a heavy heart I will not be coming to Lahore. I have a young family and for me, a game of cricket is just not worth the risk."

While apologizing from the fans for the same, he quoted, "I'm sorry as I know how much it means to you all and hopefully in the future, the safety will not be in doubt to come play there."

All the PSL matches were played in Dubai and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates until the final, which will be played in Lahore.
