Navjot Singh Sidhu, former Indian cricketer and a former Member of Parliament before the Punjab Assembly polls has today officially joined the Congress Party. Earlier, there were speculation going on about his joining.
On September 2016, Navjot singh sidhu left the Bharatiya Janata Party. His wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu just after two months of his husband quitting the party joined Congress.
The Assembly polls in Punjab is scheduled to held on February 4 and from 11 March, the counting of votes will began.
