We Indians are very flexible, we can comfort ourselves anywhere, we love different tastes, different dresses, different looks and even different kinds of experiences. Taste is our main weapon, as we do not only eat all those differentiated food but also cook them so delicious.
We explore different types of methods to fulfil our need, so why not we can cook a Pizza without Oven, yes we can, so get into your kitchen and start preparing for this extra drooling Italian dish.
Ingredients are:
All-purpose flour (maida): 3 cups,
Sugar: 1 tbsp,
Salt: ¾ tsp, Oil: 1 tbsp,
Baking powder: ½ tsp,
Baking soda: â…“ tsp,
Thick curd or yoghurt: 3 tbsp,
Water: 1 cup + as needed,
Dry flour to roll the pizza
For Toppings:
Pizza sauce or Pesto,
Sliced onions: ½ cup,
Sliced Olive 10-12,
Fine chopped bell pepper or capsicum: ½ cup,
Oil: 3 tsp, Chilly flakes,
Italian seasoning,
Mozzarella cheese: 2 cups
Method to cook:
1. In a mixing bowl take all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
2. Mix them and make a well in between.
3. Now add oil, curd and 1 cup of water and knead the soft and smooth dough.
4. Add little more water and make the soft, smooth and elastic dough.
5. Coat the dough with little oil, put it in a bowl and wrap the bowl with cling wrap.
6. Keep the dough in a warm place for 6-8 hours.
7. After 8 hours take out the dough put some oil in your hands and knead the dough once again.
8. Divide the dough into 5 parts and roll them as shown in the video.
9. Keep them aside and let the balls rest for 10 minutes.
10. Chop the veggies and keep them aside.
11. Heat the pan over medium-low heat.
12. Take one ball and dip it in flour and roll into an eight-inch circle.
13. Now with a help of the fork prick the rolled dough.
14. Heat the pan over medium-low heat and put the rolled dough on it.
15. Cook it till you see light brown spots downside.
16. Once pizza base is brown from downside turn it over and spread pizza sauce, vegetables and cheese and Italian seasoning on it.
17. Pour little olive oil on the sides, cover and let the pizza cook till it cheese melts and pizza becomes brown and crispy.
18. It may take 5-6 minutes.
19. Once pizza base is brown from down switch off the heat.
Your pan pizza is ready to serve.
