Samsung is planning to recall its previous flagship to boost the market. The model was canceled to launch in the market due to the fire incident. Samsung Galaxy Note7 battery caught fire while being tested in the laboratory.

The reason behind the batteries catching fire was the manufacturing defect, these batteries were supplied by the two different companies Samsung SDI Co Ltd and Amperex Technology Ltd. 

Samsung revealed a statement, which states, "Regarding the Galaxy Note 7 devices as refurbished phones or rental phones, applicability is dependent upon consultations with regulatory authorities and carriers as well as due consideration of local demand."
