The Supreme Court today has dismissed the bail application of Asaram in his relation to two rape cases. He wanted the bail on medical issues.

Earlier also the court has refused to grant him bail and today the bench led by Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar denied to change the previous decision.

The Gujarat Government earlier told the court bench that he should not be granted bail as the trail will get completed within six months.

On August 2013 the Jodhpur Police arrested him and from then he is in jail. A teenager girl has accused him of sexually assaulting her in a village near his Jodhpur Ashram.
