The Supreme court today has directed the Union of India to form of a guideline on the rehabilitation of mentally sick patients. The time allotted to it is of eight weeks
After hearing the petition filed by a lawyer Gaurav Bansal, the bench led by Cheif Justice of India Justice J S Khehar, including Justice D.Y. Chandrachud and Sanjay Kaul passed the direction.
Mr. Bansal has sought the court involvement for the persons who are still in hospital after being cured of their ailments.
