SC rejects Sasikala plea, asked her to surrender

The supreme court today has rejected the plea of V.K Sasikala in which she has asked for more time to surrender in front of Bengaluru court. The court yesterday declared its decision in which he sentenced Sasikala for four-year jail imprisonment.

With the court decision, Sasikala cannot become the Chief minister of Tamil Nadu. Today, her nephew TTV Dinakaran is appointed as the acting general secretary of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party.

He was expelled from the AIADMK party by late Jayalalithaa back in 2011.
