After announcing the ban of Bharat Stage IV compliant vehicles, BS IV compliant vehicles are the next in the line. Due to increasing pollution, the supreme court has announced to ban the BS IV compliant vehicles too, from April 1st.
As per the reports, the announcements were done on Wednesday and the order will be implemented from the next month. However, most of the commercial vehicles are BS IV based, so it would be tough for the vendors to vanish it till that time.
Automotive companies also plead to the Supreme Court to extend the date, as there are any vehicles need to be sold, which are i the company's stock.
