Bhopal: Retired Major General S.R. Sinho expressed his view on continuous violations by Pakistan. He feels that surgical strike is not enough; we should give more response to Pakistan in order to stop their misdeeds.

When asked about the surgical strikes, Uri attack and also, about other attacks at LoC (Line of Control) after surgical strike. Sinho said, “India has been expecting that after new army chief’s appointment in Pakistan, the incidents of ceasefire violation would decrease. But this has not happened. The former army chief of Pakistan had much more power in controlling Nawaz Sharif and whatever he wanted to happen, it happened.”

Sinho added, after appointment of Nawaz sharif as new army chief, if India thinks that we can deal in peace then we are mistaken. Again ceasefire violations have started and we shouldn’t sit quiet and watch but, we should respond to it.
