S. Sreesanth, former Indian cricketer who was banned from playing cricket due to the spot-fixing scandal in Indian Premier League 2013, has been approaching BCCI to lift the life ban imposed on him.
The ex-player filed a petition in the High Court on Wednesday, March 1. He made sure that sessions court in Delhi had already discharged all the accused on July 25, 2015. He then asked the BCCI to revoke the ban, but the board denied to budge.
Following this, the board didn't respond to the legal notice either sent by Sreesanth. The BCCI has been so rude that when Sreesanth was offered to play in Scotland's Glenroth Club's Premier League, he applied for the NOC required to play, the Board refused to respond again.
Because he needed NOC before March 2 to play and practice for the Scottish Club League, he has pleaded with the High Court to direct the BCCI to issue the NOC.
