Raipur: The security forces today has gunned down two naxals in the forest of Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh. SRP Kalluri, Inspector General of Police as per the reports said The skirmish took place late last evening in the jungles near Padmetta village under Bedre police station limits when a joint team of security personnel were out on a counter-insurgency operation in the region.

When  DRG (District Reserve Group), STF (Special Task Force), CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action) and district force were carrying out the counter-insurgency operation in the area, maoists started firing after which led to the gun battle between both the sides.

The further information of the incident is yet to come.
