Ayodhya: Preparations for the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, are going on the peak. Construction work will accelerate from the beginning of January and in the meantime, the cost of construction of the temple has been informed by the trust. According to the information revealed on Monday, it will cost about Rs 1100 crore to build the entire temple, while it will be ready in three and a half years. Swami Govind Dev Maharaj, Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has said that construction work of Ram temple is going on and experts are working on the strong foundation of the temple. According to Swami Govind Dev, the cost of building a Ram temple would be around 300 to 400 crores. However, the construction of the entire Ram temple area will cost Rs 1100 crore. According to the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, the temple construction is being planned by the engineers of IIT Bombay, Madras, Guwahati, Roorkee and L&T, work will be started soon on the foundation. Ram temple trust meeting is to be held in Delhi on Tuesday. This meeting will be attended by General Secretary Champat Rai, Trustee Anil Mishra, Treasurer Govinddev. The meeting will be headed by Nripendra Mishra, head of the construction committee. Discussions are to be held on the design of the foundation of the Ram temple in the meeting. According to Swami Govind Dev, till now the trust has received a donation of 100 crore rupees online for the construction of the temple. The target of the trust is to visit 4 lakh villages of the country and to raise funds by contacting 11 crore families.
