At least 16 people killed in mass shooting

New Delhi: In Nova Scotia province of Canada, 16 people were killed by assailants wearing police uniforms on Monday. Many people have also been injured during this period. According to the news published in Bhaskar.com, the gun attacker has also been killed in this incident. However, earlier police had said to arrest him. The attacker has been identified as 51-year-old Gabriel Wortmann.

Giving information, the police said that the attacker carried out the firing incident as planned. He used to visit portpiqué often. He had his car done like a police car. He was also wearing a police uniform. According to media reports, firing was reported in the Portpiqué area, 100 km from Halifax in Scotia province, on Sunday night. When the police reached there, they found many corpses.

Police asked all people to hide in their basements at the time of the incident. Subsequently, the police received information about firing incidents elsewhere and some bodies were also found there. After a while the police informed that they have arrested the attacker. However, the news of his death came shortly after. A total of 16 people were killed in the attack on Monday morning.
