New Delhi: The CBF190R has been given a minor redesign by Sundiro Honda for MY-2023, and it now looks like the Hornet 2.0. The motorcycle retains the sporty, angular and attractive design language of its predecessor, while sporting new decals and livery to make it stand out. Key highlights of the streetfighter include a sloping fuel tank, a raised seat and an upward-facing exhaust. With numerous victories in motorsport competitions such as MotoGP, the World Superbike Championship, the FIM Motocross World Championship and the Dakar Rally, Honda is one of the world's top bike manufacturers. It won't be coming close to our shores any time soon. The 2023 CBF190R gets angular headlight, sloping fuel tank, wide handlebar, step-up seat, slim tail section with integrated grab rails and upward sloping exhaust retaining the overall shape of the outgoing model. The two-wheeler weighs only 142 kg, making it a lightweight option. The 2023 CBF190R is powered by a 184.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 16.61hp of max power and 16.3Nm of max torque at 8,000 rpm. The mill is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The 2023 CBF190R gets single-channel ABS to prevent skidding during braking and disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels for the safety of the rider. The 2023 CBF190R is significantly costlier than its Honda Hornet 2.0 counterpart in India, selling for around Rs. 1.91 lakh (excluding taxes) in the Chinese market. It is unlikely that Streetfighter will reach our shores.
