22 died in rain-related accidents in UP, now IMD warning increased woes

Lucknow: Monsoon activities continue in north Indian states. In Uttar Pradesh, normal life has been severely affected due to rains in various districts of the state including the capital Lucknow. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Uttarakhand and northern parts of Uttar Pradesh.

According to IMD, the monsoon is kind to the states of north India at the time of departure. The Meteorological Department has predicted similar weather in Bihar, Uttarakhand, and UP till September 20. After the alert issued by the IMD in the state, the Lucknow administration has become alert. An advisory has been issued in the state capital amid an alert of heavy rains with strong winds in UP. People stepping out of the house have been asked to be careful. Let us know that for the last 48 hours, there have been intermittent heavy rains in many parts of the state.
