Rangareddy: Two persons, including a newly married woman, were killed and one person was swept away by the car in which they were traveling near Marapally in Rangareddy district. The deceased were identified as Pravalika, the bride and Sweta, Pravalika's sister-in-law. Sreesanth Reddy, a little boy was missing. The three other people who survived the accident include groom Nawaz Reddy, his sister Radhamma and driver Raghavendra Reddy. Nawaz Reddy married Pravalika on 26 August. After the wedding ceremony, Nawaz along with his wife was returning from Mominpet to Ravulpally in a car. According to the police, the road adjacent to the lake was filled with water of two meters height. The driver did not pay heed and started moving. The car was swept away by a strong current and reached a kilometer away.In a similar incident, a man Shravan Kumar and two women, Sindhuja (25) of Bandugula village and Hima Bindu (22) of Chinna Koduru mandal of Jangaon district, while bike-crossing. While Shravan Kumar managed to save himself from the flow of water, the remaining two women were washed away in the strong current. The three were on their way to attend a wedding ceremony in Bondugula village. Mortal remains of Sindhuja were recovered from Parepalli village and a search operation was launched to recover Hima Bindu.
