Indore: Bills will also be available at liquor shops in Madhya Pradesh from today. If any liquor shopkeeper refuses to pay the bill, the customer can also immediately complain to the excise officer. It is also mandatory to write the number of excise officers outside the liquor shop. Even if no shopkeeper pays a bill or cash memo, the customer can complain over the phone. At the same time, he can note to the officer his objection to overcharging and bad liquor.

The benefit will be that if something happens to the customer after drinking alcohol, it will be the responsibility of the shopkeeper concerned. If the bill is not collected, the customer will suffer. In such a situation, this responsibility will be the responsibility of the customer. If anything happens to him, the questions of the police and excise department will also have to be answered. For example, where did you take the wine? Why didn't you take the bill if you take alcohol? Don't you took alcohol somewhere illegal or in black? Many such questions may be faced.

This will enable shopkeepers to take more money and crackdown on illicit liquor. At the same time, the chances of poisonous liquor will also be reduced drastically. This cash memo will be made by the shop operator by hand. It will have the day, date, brand name of the wine, rupee, and quantity. Due to this, liquor shopkeepers will not be able to collect more than MRP (i.e. price recorded on the bottle). The name and number of the excise officer will also be recorded on the bill. The customer will also be able to make his complaint immediately. According to excise officials, liquor is already charged all kinds of taxes, so no tax like GST will be charged separately. Liquor will be available only at the prescribed price.
