Samastipur: Police have raided Bihar's Samastipur and detained six traders with a huge quantity of liquor. The incident took place in Hasanpur. As many as 1056 English liquor bottles, a pistol, live cartridges, two motorcycles and seven mobile phones were seized from the criminals. Hasanpur SHO Pankaj Kumar said that the police conducted a raid on the basis of Gupta Tahrir. In fact, they had received a tip-off that liquor baron Avadh Kishore Rai was going to unload a large consignment of liquor in Devdha village. When the police formed a team and raided, Avadh Kishore somehow managed to escape. Six of his friends were arrested by the police. The arrested liquor dealers have been identified as Rajiv Kumar, Chandan Jha, Rupesh Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Abhay Kumar and Pintu Kumar. Police are currently interrogating all the criminals.
