Lucknow: Twelve Kanwariyas were injured in a collision between a truck and a trolley in the Khatauli area near the Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. Thankfully, the collision was not too fast. However, the trolley was overturned after being hit by the truck. After the incident, the driver left the truck and fled. According to police, the incident took place near Katiauli village. According to Allahganj police station in-charge Pradeep Sherawat. The Kanwariyas were on their way to Gola Gokaran Nath after filling water from the river Ganga. On the way, a speeding truck rammed into a tractor trolley near Katiauli village. Police said two trolleys were tied to the tractor and the truck hit one of the trolleys from the side. The truck driver fled the spot after the collision. According to Sherawat, the police, with the help of villagers, pulled out the injured from under the trolley and rushed them to the hospital. He said that other Kanwariyas have been sent on a further journey. Let us know that even before the beginning of Sawan, the police had fixed separate routes to avoid any inconvenience to the Kanwariyas. The police had closed the highway and had started a separate line of Kanwariyas. Even after this, sporadic reports of accidents with the Kanwariyas are coming out.
