Patna: A major road accident took place in the Araria district of Bihar. Where the auto and the truck collided head-on. The collision was so dangerous that 4 passengers in the auto lost their lives on the spot, while one died in the middle of treatment. A total of 5 people have died in the accident, while 6 passengers were seriously injured. The injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment. While one lost his life during the treatment. All of these are undergoing treatment in Purnia. Police from the Nagar police station, including Sadar SDO, SDPO rushed to the spot after receiving information about the accident. But the incident took place near the Kusiargaon Bel Chowk petrol pump on the Araria-Purnia route. According to locals, the collision was so impactful that the auto is damaged completely. After the incident, all the deceased and injured were brought to the Sadar Hospital from where the injured have been referred to Purnia and Bhagalpur for better treatment. After receiving information about the incident, a large number of villagers, including SDO Shailesh Chandra Diwakar, SDP Pushkar Kumar, DTO Vipin Kumar Yadav, Araria BDO Ashutosh Kumar, Panchayat representatives of Rampur Kodarkatty Panchayat including SDP Gopinath Mandal have reached the Sadar hospital. The deceased include Nunulal Rishi (50) of Rampur Kodarkatty, Sushila Devi (55) of Kamaldah, Meenakshi Kumari and Gaurav Kumar (5) of Purnia Mahendrapur and Mahavati Devi (45). Among the injured are Suman Devi of Rampur Kodarkatty, Rajkumari, Deepak Kumar Rishi, Full Kumari, Sushil Rishidev of Kamaldaha, Mithun Rishidev of Raniganj Rahdia.
