Kabul: At least nine people have been killed in a fidayeen bomb attack on Thursday in the eastern Logar province of Afghanistan, while 40 people have been seriously injured. It is being told that this attack was carried out in the province's capital Pul-e-Alam targeting a police check post. Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Arian had earlier revealed in his statement that most of the people killed in the attack were ordinary civilians, but later changed the statement to say that six policemen were among the nine people who died, while the other three Are ordinary citizens. He also informed that a large number of common people have been injured in the attack. Shahpur Ahmadzai, the spokesman of the provincial police, has said that the common people killed in the attack are those who were in the car and stopped for investigation at the police post.
