New Delhi: The first all-electric motorcycle from locally based EV startup DEVOT Motors was unveiled at the Greater Noida Auto Expo 2023. The EV is a prototype that has been prepared for production. The soon-to-be-released motorcycle has been endurance tested to make it suitable for our roads and climate, and features a neo-retro design philosophy. A powerful 9.5kW electric motor powers the all-electric two-wheeler. At Auto Expo 2020, Rajasthan based electric vehicle start-up DEVOT Motors made its debut in the Indian EV market. Since then, the business has opened a development center in Jodhpur and a research and development center in the UK. At the Auto Expo 2023, the brand unveiled its first electric bike till date. It is expected to hit our roads soon. It has a neo-retro design aesthetic. It gets designer wheels and a digital instrument cluster. A 9.5kW centrally-mounted electric motor and a sizable battery pack power the DEVOT electric motorcycle. The system can provide a range of up to 200 kilometers on a single charge. The EV can go up to 120 km/h. At the time of launch, DEVOT Motors will announce the specifications related to the price and availability of the electric motorcycle.
