Toronto: Eight teenage girls killed a 59-year-old man. Police say that the elderly man was killed by these girls with a sharp weapon for a bottle of liquor. The police were also stunned after the incident came to light. Investigations have revealed that out of the eight girls involved in the incident, 3 are 13, 3 are 14, and 2 are 16 years old. However, the police have not yet made public most of the details related to the investigation. Police have not even made public the identity of the elderly man who died in the case that came to light in Toronto, Canada, on December 18. The elderly man, who was injured in the attack by the girls, was admitted to the hospital by the police, where he was declared dead after some time. The police have not given the reason for the murder in the initial investigation. Detective Sergeant Terry Browne of the Toronto Police Service Homicide Unit said in a press conference on Tuesday that all these girls came from many parts of the city and met on social media. He said that before the stabbing incident with the elderly man, these girls may have targeted someone else. The police also appeared stunned after this murder. Brown did not describe the girls as members of the gang during the press conference, but he did say that they all behaved like criminals who attack in a herd. Speaking to the media, Brown said that he thought the girls were trying to snatch a bottle of alcohol from an elderly man. That's why they killed that person. The girls will now be produced in court on December 29, where the trial of the case against them will begin.
