New Delhi: A case of kidnapping and raping a 5-year-old innocent girl from outside the house in the Bhalswa Dairy area of North Delhi has come to light. Police have constituted 10 teams of 'special staff' to trace the unknown accused. While giving information in this regard on Thursday (December 22), the police said that they started a search operation after receiving information about the kidnapping of a girl playing outside the house at around 8 pm on Wednesday night.
Police said that they continued the search operation throughout the night. After that, on Thursday morning at around 7:00 am, the girl recovered from a park about 1 kilometer away from the house. Police said the girl was taken to a hospital, where doctors told her she was sexually assaulted. According to the police, a case under section 363 of the IPC was registered at the Bhalswa Dairy police station on the basis of a complaint by the girl's parents. After this the police raided. Police said that Section 376 of the IPC and Section 5 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act have also been added to the FIR.
Police have said that at present it is difficult to tell whether the girl stayed in the park the entire night or the accused took her somewhere else and later fled leaving her in the park. Further investigation is going on in this matter. Police said the matter is being probed and 10 teams of 'special staff' have been formed to trace the accused.
