Aadhya Prasad to play the lawyer in Drishyam 2 Kannada version

Actress Aadhya Prasad, who was last seen in the film Nizhal as child actor Izin Hash’s teacher, sharing screen with the likes of Nayanthara and Kunchacko Boban, will soon be working in Jeethu Joseph’s Drishyam 2’s Kannada version.

The actress, who also has many other films like Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer Partners and the Tamil film Antha Naal, in her kitty, tells us, “The film’s shoot should start soon after the lockdown is over. I’m not allowed to speak more about it at the moment.” The Kayamkulam native, who has also been working as an assistant director in ad films and as a dubbing artiste, treasures her memories of working with Nayanthara. She says, “One of the reasons why I said yes to the character of Megha, who teaches and takes care of Izan’s character Nithin in the film, is that I got to share the screen with Nayan ma’am. I wish I get more good movies to work with her.”

The actress, who is also a trained dancer and had directed a music album titled Oh My Baby a few months ago, is also headlining Partners, in which she plays a Konkai girl employed in a bank. In director Sarath G Mohan’s Dheeraj Denny-starrer Karnan Napolean Bhagath Singh too, she plays the lead character, that of a home nurse. Aadhya says, “The film is a thriller, in which Dheeraj plays a police officer and I play his love interest. It’s shoot was over and only the certification is pending.”
