AAP Announces 21 More Candidates for Haryana Assembly Elections

Haryana: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced its fourth list of candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections, revealing 21 new names. With this announcement, AAP has now declared a total of 61 candidates for the 90-member assembly.

The latest list includes Raj Kaur Gill for Ambala Cantonment, Lalit Tyagi for Yamunanagar, Joga Singh for Ladwa, Satbir Goyat for Kithal, Sunil Bindal for Karnal, and Sukhbir Malik for Painpat Rural. Additional candidates are Saroj Bala Rathi for Ganaur, Devender Gautam for Sonipat, Shiv Kumar Rangeela for Gohana, Sandeep Malik for Baroda, Kavita Dalal for Julana, Nisha Deshwal for Safidon, Sukhwinder Singh Gill for Tohana, Jasdev Nikka for Kalanwali, Sham Mehta for Sirsa, Narender Uklana for Uklana, Rajiv Pali for Narnaund, and Rajender Sorkhi for the remaining seat.

Manish Sisodia, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and AAP leader, attended the nomination rally for Anurag Dhanda, the party’s state vice president and candidate for the Kalayat seat. Sisodia expressed confidence in AAP's success in the upcoming elections, criticizing the BJP's decade-long governance in Haryana.

"I am here for Anurag Dhanda's nomination. He is not only my friend but also a senior leader of Haryana AAP. The people are frustrated with the BJP's 10-year rule and are eager to see change. AAP will form the government and deliver on the promises made by Arvind Kejriwal," Sisodia said.

He emphasized the party's focus on combating corruption, addressing issues in education and healthcare, and restoring job opportunities.

Negotiations for a seat-sharing agreement between AAP and Congress fell through. The deadline for filing nominations is September 12, with voting scheduled for October 5. The results will be announced on October 8, alongside those from Jammu and Kashmir.
