AAP govt in 'dock' after Sidhu's murder, high court judge to conduct probe, also take exception to security removal

Amritsar: The Bhagwant Mann government in Punjab has decided to conduct a judicial inquiry into the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Mosewala. Sidhu Musewala's father had written a letter to Mann seeking an inquiry by the CBI, NIA or the sitting high court judge into the murder of his son. Agreeing to this, Bhagwant Mann has ordered a judge to conduct an inquiry into the matter.

Not only this, the Punjab government has also said that the decision to withdraw sidhu musewala's VIP security has also been investigated. The CMO office has informed that CM Mann is taking moment-to-moment updates in this matter. Today, CM Bhagwant Mann is also likely to hold a meeting with senior officials in the matter. CM Bhagwant Mann issued a statement saying that the culprits will be arrested soon.  

Balkaur Singh, father of Sidhu Musewala (Shubhdeep Singh), had written a letter to CM Bhagwant Mann, demanding a CBI, NIA or sitting judge to investigate the murder. Not only this, he has demanded from Bhagwant Mann that the DGP of Punjab should also apologise. He said the DGP has described the murder of his son as the result of a gangwar, on which he should apologise. At present, an FIR has been lodged against unknown persons in the case of the murder of Musewala.
