Raipur: A major accident has been averted at Bilaspur railway station in Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh Express met with an accident at the station on Tuesday (January 16) night. According to the information, while separating the engine from the coach, Chhattisgarh Express broke the signal and ran over the stopper. After this accident, an atmosphere of panic has arisen among the passengers. Although, there is no news of any loss of life in this incident, but people are also calling it a big negligence of the railway administration. At present, no response has been received from any railway official in this case. According to the information received, on Tuesday, when Chhattisgarh Express coming from Delhi had reached platform number 8 of Bilaspur station, its engine hit the stopper (dead end). Changes made in the platform numbers of many trains: The engine of the train has been damaged in this accident. The collision was so strong that the tiles in front of the dead end were uprooted and fell forward. It is being said that the incident in Chhattisgarh Express happened around 8:30 pm. After the accident, the platform numbers of many trains have been changed. Earlier, on January 14, at around 1 am, a goods train had derailed at Dallirajhara railway station in Balod district, affecting platforms 1, 2 and 3. Many passenger trains were affected due to this accident. This is the second train accident in a month. Along with this, due to the derailment of the engine of the goods train, the passengers of the passenger train going from Antagarh to Durg had to face a lot of problems on Sunday morning.
