Kabul: The situation in Afghanistan has remained grim since the Taliban's complete occupation. A large crowd has gathered at Kabul airport to leave the country. Amidst all this, a local employee present there has reported the alarming situation. The employee said the flight left Afghanistan every two minutes last Sunday and the elders and officers fled Afghanistan. The employee said that two or three aircraft took off today in which visa officers and airport staff also left the country. At present, the situation is such that there is no one left to check the visa at the airport. There is a scary situation and people are dying to leave Kabul. The employee said the bottom line is that people are fleeing the country without taking their belongings.

The Taliban has issued a decree asking people to stay indoors till 8 am on August 17. Commercial flights from Kabul airport have also been stopped, only military aircraft are allowed to fly. Even after all this, people are quickly withdrawing money from banks to leave the country. Many people are visiting embassies in their respective countries to get visas.
