In another shocking incident, A 26-year-old girl meets a boy named Aftab, falls in love and then decides to move in with him against her own parents’ wish. The girl is killed by her own live-in partner who chops off her body into 35 pieces. The accused roams around the city for over 18 nights to dispose of the body parts at different places in Delhi. According to police, the accused has been identified as Aftab, murdered her live-in partner Shradha who was asking him to marry her. An argument had taken place between the accused Aftab and Shradha on May 18. She was shouting, therefore, in order to silence her., Aftab pressed Shradha's face due to which she choked to death. In order to hide this horrific crime. Aftab chopped off her body into 35 pieces and continued disposing them for 18 days in different parts across the city in order to hides his crime. Aftab kept disposing of pieces of Shradha's dead body one by one in Delhi's Mehrauli forest area. Aftab also bought a big fridge to store her body parts to make sure they don't stink for 18 days. He used to go to Mehrauli to dispose of body parts in the forest area every night around 2 am. Aftab and the victim used to work in the same call center in Mumbai, however, the girl's family was unhappy with her relationship. They came to Delhi where they both started living together in a rented home. The victim used to upload her photos on Facebook regularly so that the girl's family members can know about her. She didn’t post for few days, and the family suspected something fishy. The victim’s father visited Delhi around five months ago and went to the place where her daughter was staying with her live-in partner. Her father found the place to be locked following which he lodged a missing complaint. The police is investigating into the matter since five months. Now they arrested the accused.
