These days the instances of death because of prank is increasing. In am another shocking incident. Dayashankar Dubey of the Hanspuram area of Naubasta in Kanpur fell unconscious after his co-worker pressed an air compressor pipe used to clean dust into his rectum.  He was later rushed to a private hospital in Kakadeo when his condition deteriorated. Several efforts to save his life went in vein and he died in the hospital.

According to the information, He died due to internal injuries caused due to sudden burst of air inside the rectum. His family lodged a murder complaint with Rania police against his colleague who allegedly inserted the pipe into his body. He was detained by the police and interrogated, further investigation in the matter is going on.

A Police Official told, "We have taken the accused factory worker into custody. The postmortem has confirmed death due to internal bleeding. If the charges are proven, we will book him for culpable homicide under IPC 304." The police officer further told Dayashankar Dubey was the only earning member of the family and the family is very affected by the instances and demanding for strict action against his colleague.

This is not the first incident. Earlier in a similar incident in July, a 16-year-old boy died after his friend inserted an air compressor into his rectum in Gujarat's Mehsana. The victim was a native of the Barabanki district in Uttar Pradesh. He worked in the woodwork department at Alok Industries. The accused in the incident was identified as Kuldeep Vijaybhai.
