Indore: Everything was lying closed due to lockdown. But shops are slowly being opened in Unlock 1. At the same time, after opening the liquor shops, now the cannabis shops are also going to open. The Excise Department has given permission to open 10 cannabis shops in the city. These shops were closed for the last 75 days. However, on Thursday, 33 liquor shops in the city were also opened by the administration.

In fact, according to Excise Department Assistant Commissioner RN Soni, permission has been given to start 10 cannabis shops located in the city. According to officials, all these shops are located in the central city, but no shops will open in the container area. It has been decided to keep shops close to the container area or near it at present. Significantly, the cannabis shops were closed as soon as the lockdown started. A few days ago, when liquor shops were started by the administration, there was a demand to open cannabis shops. With the permission of the Excise Department, instructions have been given to make all security measures mandatory from the shopkeepers, as well as instructions that social distancing should be followed at the shop.

Let us tell you that on Tuesday, 29 liquor shops were opened in rural areas adjoining the city. On Thursday, June 11, 33 shops of domestic and foreign liquor have been opened in the city. At the same time, 10 cannabis shops will also start from Saturday. Due to the opening of liquor shops, there was a crowd of customers there on Thursday, which is also visible on Friday.
