The actress is known for her strong roles in many Hindi films and shows. She was last seen in Kangana Ranaut's film 'Manikarnika'. As per the information, the actress died due to renal failure. She had also suffered a brain stroke last year. After this, she was suffering from paralysis. Her health seemed to be improving.
Rajita Kochhar was recovering well, but suddenly on 20th December she started having difficulty in breathing and abdominal pain. After the health condition of the actress deteriorated condition, she was admitted to the hospital. She was on a ventilator in the hospital, but she could not recover and come home. Recently her close one Nupur also told about her last conversation with Ranjita. She said, "When I met him on the evening of December 23, he held my hand and thanked me for everything. I told him that he would have to live for me, so he gave me a thumbs-up. That was the last time between us." It was a conversation. I think she knew she was going to leave."
On the career front, Rajita Kochhar played a variety of characters in television and films. Apart from 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki', she is also known for shows like 'Haatim' and 'Kavach'. 'Kahani Kahani Ghar Ki' Dadi Bua. Rajita was very active and fit at the age of 70. Apart from serials like 'Tantra', 'Kavach... Kali Shaktiyon Se', 'Haatim' and 'Kehne Ghar Ghar Ki', 'Piya Ka' Worked in films like 'Ghar' and 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'. She is survived by husband Rajesh Kochhar and daughter Kapisha, who is settled in the US.
