Air Marshal VR Chaudhary will be Vice Chief of Indian Air Force

New Delhi: Several major changes have been made in the top officers of the Indian Air Force (IAF). Air Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhary has been appointed as the next Vice Chief of Air Staff at the Air Force Headquarters. Two new commander-in-chiefs will also take over. Air Marshal Ballabh Radha Krishna, Director General of Air Operations, will replace Chaudhary in the Western Command in Delhi, while Air Marshal RJ Duckworth will take charge of the Central Air Command at Prayagraj.

Let us tell you that Vivek Ram Chaudhary is taking over as vice chief when the Indian Air Force is carrying out night air patrolling in the eastern Ladakh region. Air Marshal Chaudhary, a former student of the National Defence Academy, was inducted into the Fighter Stream stream of the Indian Air Force on December 29, 1982. Air Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhary has flown a variety of fighter and trainer aircraft in a career spanning nearly 38 years. He has experience of flying MiG-21, MiG-23 MF, MiG-29 and Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter jets. He also have more than 3,800 hours of flying experience.

Air Marshal Chaudhary has held several important positions. He was the commanding officer of a frontline fighter squadron and also took charge of the frontline fighter base. As an Air Marshal, he has taken over as Vice Chief of Air Staff.
